About Our Club

The Rotary Club of Staunton Augusta County meets on Wednesdays at 7 am for a breakfast buffet at Mrs. Rowe's Family Restaurant.  Breakfast starts at 7 am, and the meeting runs from 7:20 until 8 am.

How do I become a member?

Membership is by invitation. Want to visit our club, but don't know a member? We would love to meet you.  Simply contact us, and let us know of your interest and we will send an invitation.  Visiting Rotarians are always welcome to do a make-up at our meeting.

What does a typical meeting look like?

We have a speaker/program the first three weeks of each month. The fourth week is "club day" when we deal with club matters, and any fifth Wednesday is a social occasion.   If you have something interesting that would make a good 20-minute program presentation, email Sandy Zamalis and she will be happy to help coordinate a time and date that works for the club.

What events does your club sponsor in the community?

  • Jazz in the Park - Thursday evenings @ 7:00pm free summer jazz concert series in Staunton's Gypsy Hill Park.
  • Staunton West End Farmer's Market -  Thursdays from 4:00pm-7:00pm in the summer at the Old Big Lots Parking Lot in Staunton.
  • Staunton Augusta Club Rotary Duck Derby - Part of the Happy Birthday America event in Gypsy Hill Park on the 4th of July!
  • And more.....explore our site for other projects of the club and the events of Rotary International.
